Just after 3 PM this past Saturday, Prince George RCMP got multiple reports from people that witnessed a woman being forced into a grey sedan by a male, in a parking lot of a commercial dwelling unit on the 900-block of Victoria Street.
It was said that the woman was screaming for help and continued to do so as the vehicle left the area and officers immediately began patrols for the suspected vehicle.
Not long after the first report, Police got word of a vehicle matching the description given of the suspect vehicle was involved in a roll-over single vehicle incident on the 7300-block of Boundary road.
Officers found the woman in serious condition at the crash site because she was ejected from the vehicle during said incident and she had to be airlifted to Vancouver.
People who witnessed the crash said that the driver had attempted to violently car-jack several vehicles that were trying to help, before voluntarily getting a ride out of the area from a passerby.
The driver/suspect was eventually located at the commercial dwelling unit where the initial reports came from and he was arrested without incident.
The suspect was identified as Farbn Marvin Japow, who was known to the Police and will remain in custody until his next court date.
