A man and a woman from Williams Lake have officially been charged with committing property crime offences in Quesnel.
Back on Tuesday, Quesnel Police got word of a camper parked along Highway 97 that had been broken into and had items stolen and a suspect vehicle was identified in this case.
At around 5:21 PM the same day, Police found the suspect vehicle on Jade Street in Quesnel, where a 27-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman from the Williams Lake area were arrested.
The pair was driving a vehicle that they had stolen in Quesnel back in September, and they had also been linked to other serious crimes in the Williams Lake area.
Patrick Power has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and taking a vehicle without the consent of the owner in Quesnel as well as possession of stolen property in relation to a Williams Lake incident.
Kyla Power has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and occupying a vehicle that was taken without the consent of the owner in Quesnel.
This investigation is still ongoing.
