In a recently released press release, Interior Health announced that their Career Access Program has added 337 positions.
As far the breakdown of the positions goes, 20 are pilot positions in acute care at the Royal Inland Hospital, 112 are in Home Health and 205 in long term care.
This Health Career Access Program has been said to cover the costs of post secondary education while helping graduates get entry level jobs.
The program usually requires six to eight months of full-time post-secondary education and has been said to provide an opportunity for individuals to find a fulfilling health-care career in Interior Health.
