Some information from Prince Rupert School District 52’s latest board meeting was just recently sent out.
The biggest takeaway from the meeting was the breakdown of how much funding the District was going to be receiving for the School year, which saw them receive $250,000 from the Student and Family Affordability Fund, $175,000 for Early Learning and Childcare, $77,657 from the Reaching Home Grant and more.
It was also a farewell for Tina Last and Bart Kuntz, trustee board members who did not seek re-election and this was their final meeting.
The report also mentioned that this year’s student enrollment numbers were at 1,810 students, higher than the forecast number of 1,775 students.
