To quote a famous novel and TV Series, winter is coming, and with it various weather warnings for the north.
Wind and arctic outflow warnings are in place for sections of the Central and North Coast, with predicted windchill values nearing minus 20.
Coastal sections, including Prince Rupert and Bella Bella, can expect to see winds of up to 110 km/h through tomorrow morning.
Inland sections such as Terrace, Kitimat, and Bella Coola, will get slower winds of up to 60 km/h, but will also see colder temperatures overnight.
Drivers are advised to be aware of blowing debris and falling branches or powerlines on the roads, and to drive with caution.
