Even though he is not officially in office anymore, the now former BC Premier John Horgan has reportedly said that he’s still willing to try to help solve the issue of health care funding between the federal and provincial governments.
Although he is not seeking to get a new job, Horgan has stated that he has sent a group text message to his provincial and territorial counterparts which said that he can still help them out in any way possible.
Horgan also made note of the fact that he has a lot of knowledge about the file, as well as that he’s passionate about it and believes he has the confidence of Canada’s political leaders, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
These comments were made by Horgan yesterday, the day before David Eby was officially sworn in as BC’s 37th premier.
