Search warrants were recently executed by the RCMP’s Cariboo Crime Reduction Unit in both Williams Lake and Riske Creek.
As a result of these warrants, RCMP were able to seize stolen vehicles, firearms and a significant quantity of controlled substances.
The Riske Creek warrant was executed back on October 22nd in the 2200 block of Highway 20.
On that block, Police were able to find and seize a Ford F-350 and a Dodge 2500, both stolen from 108 Mile House, stolen medical supplies and a unregistered long rifle.
Two prolific offenders were also arrested at the scene, and both were prohibited from possessing firearms, and their charges are currently pending until the investigation is done.
The Williams Lake search warrant was put into action on October 29th at a residence in the 500 block of Midnight Dr, which was believed to be part of a drug trafficking operation.
At that residence, Police seized 290 grams of Methamphetamine, 1 ounce of fentanyl, 35 grams of Cocaine, a loaded .357 handgun, a lot of Canadian money, an SKS rifle and other supplies consistent with the trafficking of illicit drugs.
Three individuals, including a prolific offender and member of a violent gang, were arrested due to this investigation and charges are currently pending the completion of the investigation.
