A recently released BCAA survey has discovered that the preparation levels for winter are not where they should be when it comes to many BC drivers.
In the survey’s results, 47 percent of BC drivers have not installed their winter tires yet and only 37 percent have an emergency kit in their vehicles in case of a breakdown.
Other things discovered by the survey include 42 percent of drivers being nervous to drive in winter conditions, 72 percent of people who took the survey believing BC has bad winter drivers and 50 percent of responders saying that BC has the worst winter drivers in the country.
And with their findings in this survey, BCAA has gone onto put out reminders about how to drive safe during the winter and how to prepare for it.
Some of the tips include giving you car a winter check up, checking your tire pressure a lot and to avoid driving in challenging areas.
