Impaired drivers were once again doing their best to keep Kitimat RCMP busy over the past week.
On the morning of November 25th, police were conducting routine patrols in the downtown, when they observed two vehicles driving erratically.
One driver failed a roadside sobriety test, while the other refused to take it, resulting in both receiving prohibitions.
A few days later, on November 28th, police caught yet another impaired driver while conducting a checkstop on Highway 37, near Forest Avenue.
All three drivers were issued 90 day driving prohibitions, and had their vehicles impounded for 30 days.
Later on the 28th, officers were conducting patrols on Loganberry Street, when they noticed a suspicious car idling nearby.
While speaking with the driver, officers noticed open bottles of alcohol in the car, leading to a 3 day prohibition and vehicle impoundment.
