UPDATE:
A man who escaped lawful custody at a New Hazelton hospital earlier this week has been apprehended once again.
30 year-old Buddy Douglas Shanoss was initially arrested on charges of arson, assault of a police officer, break and enter, and more.
Following his arrest, Shanoss was taken to Wrinch Memorial Hospital for medical treatment, before taking a car from the hospital and escaping on Monday.
Police have now re-apprehended Shanoss, though no further information on his initial arrest or the escape itself has been released.

RCMP in New Hazelton are on the look out after a man escaped lawful custody at Wrinch Memorial Hospital this morning.
30 year-old Buddy Douglas Shanoss was initially arrested on charges of arson, break and enter, assault of a police officer, flight from police, and more.
Following his arrest, Shanoss was admitted to the hospital for medical treatment, before escaping this morning in a vehicle taken from the lot.
That vehicle is described as a silver 2015 Kia Sportage, with BC license plate KP6 33C.
Shanoss himself is an 6 foot tall Indigenous man, weighing 190 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes.
If you encounter Shanoss, you are asked not to approach under any circumstances, but instead to contact 9-1-1 immediately.
