A new set of entrance awards, funded by the Coast Mountain College Foundation, aim to combat the on-going shortage of health care workers in BC.
Since the pandemic, the College says they have been struggling to fill seats in their, usually very popular, Bachelor of Nursing Program.
In an effort to remove financial barriers for applicants, the Foundation will be providing $1,500 entrance awards to all first-year nursing students this coming Fall.
That will cover nearly 40 percent of the first year of tuition for any student who registers for the nursing program and stays on through September 20th.
Applications for the Fall 2023 intake remain open until March 30th, and you can find more information linked at CFNR FM dot CA.
