Two routine traffic stops in the Cariboo over the past couple of weeks have led to the seizure of nearly $30,000 believed to be linked to crime.
On November 17th, BC Highway Patrol from Williams Lake pulled over a truck along Highway 97, just south of 100 Mile House.
During the stop, officers located and seized a small quantity of cannabis, as well as over $15,000 in cash, believed to obtained by crime.
Later, on November 27th, officers pulled over a speeding vehicle just north of Mcleese Lake, also along Highway 97.
This time, an inspection uncovered 350 grams of suspected illegal cannabis products, and $10,000 in cash.
