Two suspects are facing numerous charges after attempting to flee from RCMP in Fort St John while concealing a loaded handgun.
While conducting a stolen property investigation on the 10000 block of 114th Avenue on November 30th, members of the Crime Reduction Unit spotted a vehicle on site.
When that vehicle attempted to leave the residence, officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the vehicle failed to stop.
Not long after, another officer spotted the vehicle and was able to pull the vehicle over, arresting both the driver and passenger.
Ryan Tutt, the driver of the vehicle, is now facing charges of flight from police, and possession of break and enter instruments.
Meanwhile, the passenger, Curtis Bagan, is facing 9 firearms-related charges, including possession of a concealed and restricted firearm.
Both were held in custody for future court dates.
