Touring Terrace is now possible from anywhere in the world through virtual reality.
A 360 degree, two-dimensional view of key sites and features of the city can now be offered to investors and site selectors who wish to see it.
Starting in 2021, the project only took a year to fund, execute and complete.
Completed through a partnership between the city, Kitimaat Valley Education Centre and Origin, it cost a total of $50,410.
Although the city also received grants up to $42,500 from the Northern Development Initiative Trust and CanExport Community Investments.
According to the city, the project is a way to remain competitive for investors by giving them the opportunity to see the benefits of settling in Terrace without having to leave home.
