Athletes participating at the upcoming Nordiq Canada Selection Trials will also have a shot at a tuition credit from the University of Northern BC.
Roughly 250 young athletes will take part in the trials at the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club in Prince George, beginning on January 18th.
They will be competing for a chance to represent Canada at the Junior/ Under 23 Nordic Skiing World Championships in Whistler a week later.
But, for the first time in the event’s history, participants will also be eligible for a $2,000 tuition credit useable on all undergraduate courses at UNBC.
