RCMP now believe a man reported missing by his family in October to be evading police in the Terrace area.
56 year-old Leon Sinclair was reported missing out of Houston on October 27th, though he had not been in contact with family since November of 2021.
After following up on a number of leads, police now believe Sinclair to have been in the Terrace or Thornhill area as recently as November 18th.
He is believed to have been residing at addresses in New Remo and Thornhill, and was likely a frequent patron of the Northern Motor Inn Restaurant.
Sinclair is described as a 5 foot 9 inch Indigenous man, weighing 181 pounds, with black greying hair and brown eyes.
Police say he may have been going by the aliases Evan Sinclair, or Evan Leon.
