A speedy response from RCMP in Terrace helped to catch a pair of break-and-enter suspects red handed last week.
At around 1:30 in the morning on December 29th, police received reports of two individuals inside the locked Pacific Northern Gas compound.
When they arrived on-scene, officers found two men attempting to break into a locked truck on the compound.
Despite both being in possession of break-and-enter tools, police found several other vehicles with broken windows on the lot.
Damage costs are estimated to be around $1,200, while police say the equipment the pair were attempting to steal is valued at $11,000.
Both suspects were arrested on numerous charges and are being held in custody for a future court date.
