If you see some extra money in your bank account this month, don’t be too surprised.
Through the BC Affordability Credit announced in November, people will receive a credit to help manage the rising cost of living.
85 percent of British Columbians could receive up to $164 per adult and $41 per child this month automatically through the CRA.
That credit will also come alongside an enhanced BC Family Benefit payment.
For the next three months, 75 percent of families could see as much as an extra $58.33 per child.
Both credits were designed to distribute almost $2 billion to British Columbians dealing with inflation.
