A tentative collective bargaining agreement has been reached between the province and the Community Health Bargaining Association.
If ratified, the agreement would cover roughly 21,700 unionized health-care support workers represented by the Association.
Community health workers provide on-site support for private homes, group homes, community living spaces, child development centres, mental health centres, and more.
Reached with the Health Employers’ Association of BC, the tentative agreement was signed under the province’s Shared Recovery Mandate, and must still be ratified.
