Police Launch Investigation into Kitimat Fire with Belief it May be Suspicious in Nature

Initial investigations into a fire in Kitimat from last night have led police to believe the cause may have been suspicious.

RCMP say that fire sprouted up sometime yesterday evening at a residence in the townhouse block at 1064 Nalabila Boulevard.

Little else about the fire itself has been released, but police say, after consulting with forensic investigators, the cause may be suspicious.

They have launched an investigation and are asking anyone who may have information to call them at 250 632 7111.
