RCMP Renew Calls for Public Assistance to Locate Missing Man with Outstanding Warrants Who is Believed to be Evading Police

RCMP in Terrace are renewing calls for public assistance to locate a man who was both reported missing by his family, and the subject of warrants outside BC.

56 year-old Leon Sinclair was reported missing out of Houston on October 27th, though he had not been in contact with family since September of 2021.

Several reported sightings have been received since first asking for public assistance last month, though none have been confirmed.

Police believe he made his way to Prince Rupert, and eventually Terrace in November, but say he may have since moved on.

They believe he is actively evading police due to his warrants, and may be going by the aliases Evan Sinclair, or Evan Leon.

He is described as a 5 foot 6 inch Indigenous man with gray hair and brown eyes, and a photo is available at CFNR FM dot CA.
