Ice-slicked roads kept Kitimat RCMP on their toes… or skates this Sunday as they responded to 4 collisions in as many hours.
Luckily, the first two crashes saw cars simply slide off the road or into ditches, resulting in minimal damages and no injuries.
But the third incident, which occurred near the Kitimat Bridge on Highway 37, saw a a vehicle flip and roll into the ditch.
While on the scene of that crash, a second vehicle lost traction at the same spot, and collided with a parked emergency vehicle.
Significant damage was suffered by all three vehicles as a result, though remarkably, no one was injured.
Those incidents came just two days after a pair of morning crashes sent one to hospital with minor injuries.
Drivers are reminded to slow down, pay attention for black ice, and drive according to road conditions.
