Skeena- Bulkley Valley MP Taylor Bachrach is once again calling on the Federal government to help solve Prince Rupert’s infrastructure woes.
That came after a series of watermain breaks forced the City to declare a local state of emergency over the holidays.
Despite that, both the City and Province have funded projects to address the water infrastructure issues.
Yesterday, Bachrach stood in Parliament to urge Ottawa to do the same, to help prevent a possible catastrophic failure.
He called for the Federal Government to stop dragging their feet, and step up to ensure Prince Rupert residents can count on their water system.
