Another revision has been made to the proposed Prince Rupert tax rate.
Residents were initially warned of a 15.7 per cent increase in March.
Then, following a $1 million loan repayment from City West, the city states on their website a 13.4 per cent increase instead.
However, in a city council meeting last night a 12.5 per cent increase was announced.
That revision was announced in the first of two public consultations on the proposed tax increase last night.
A final public consultation session will happen on April 24 at city hall, though the city’s budget simulator also offers a form to submit feedback until April 19 when the simulation closes.
