Local business owners are being invited to participate in a series of workshops over the next few months.
Workshops featured in the Kitimat Business Bootcamp series are tailored to address specific challenges facing businesses in Kitimat.
Hosted by the District and Chamber of Commerce, and sponsored by LNG Canada and Rio Tinto, the series will be spread across six sessions.
It will kick off with a workshop focusing on temporary foreign workers next Monday.
That will lead into sessions on succession planning on May 3rd, grants and external funding on May 10th, housing supports on May 17th, negotiations and space finding on June 7th, and digital support on June 14th.
Sessions will conclude with the Business Builders Competition, where businesses can earn up to $5,000 in grants to go towards expansion plans.
