Police are advising residents of the Lower Thornhill area to check their vehicles for damage, following a series of mischief reports.
Between midnight and 2:00 yesterday morning, Terrace RCMP responded to several incidents of tires being slashed and paint damaged.
So far, incidents have been reported on Paquette Avenue, Pine Avenue, Empire Avenue, Century Street, and at the Holiday Inn.
But police believe there could be other victims who have not noticed the damaged tires, which could burst, or cause other safety issues.
While the tires appear to have been damaged by a sharp object, the puncture is not always noticeable, or deep enough to cause a flat.
Thornhill residents are also being asked to check their security cameras for footage of two possible suspects in the area yesterday morning.
Anyone with information which may help locate the suspects should contact Terrace RCMP at 250 638 7400.
