There are three active wildfires of note in BC, according to the Wildfire Service, and all are burning in the Prince George Fire Centre.
Covering over 5,900 hectares near the Alberta border, east of Fort St John, the Boundary Lake fire is the largest of those.
That has some residents of the Boundary and Goodlow areas under an evacuation alert, with others being ordered to evacuate.
An evacuation alert has also been issued by the Doig River First Nation as a result.
West of there, the Red Creek fire has grown to cover 2,800 hectares north of Charlie Lake, near the intersection of Highways 97 and 29.
It is prompting evacuation alerts and orders of its own, with more info on the area covered by all Alerts at this link, and on orders at this one.
Meanwhile, all orders which had been issued for the Teare Creek fire, just across the Fraser from McBride, have now been rescinded.
Currently covering roughly 1,100 hectares, the Wildfire service currently lists the blaze as being held.
