River levels are remaining steady across much of BC, but the River Forecast Centre says the upcoming hot spell could change that.
While flows in the Skeena and Bulkley Rivers are sitting at one year flood levels for now, flows could hit 5 year levels by next week.
A high streamflow advisory remains in place for the Bulkley River and tributaries near Terrace, Smithers, Telkwa, Kispiox, and the Hazeltons.
All rivers and tributaries near Fort St John, Dawson Creek, Chetwynd, and through the Pine Pass, are also under a similar advisory.
High streamflow advisories are also in place for the Fraser River and tributaries of the Upper Fraser around Quesnel and Prince George.
That advisory also covers the Nazko, West Road, Cottonwood and San Jose Rivers, and Baker Creek, west of Quesnel and Williams Lake.
A flood watch also remains in place for the Quesnel and Little Swift Rivers and tributaries east of Quesnel.
