Monday is the last day for the public to provide comments on the Environmental Assessment process for the Ksi Lisims LNG project.
Planned for Pearse Island, west of Gingolx, the project is being proposed by the Nisga’a Nation and partners Rockies LNG and Western LNG.
Over the course of its 40 year life span, the floating facility is expected to produce 12 million tonnes of LNG annually.
Last month, the Environmental Assessment Office released a set of draft documents on how they plan to conduct their assessment of the project.
Residents have until midnight on Monday to review those documents and provide input on the proposed process.
You can follow this link to the documents as well as an online comment submission form.
