The City of Prince Rupert is looking for help in beautifying their municipal police detachment building.
On the corner of 3rd Avenue East and McBride, the city is hoping to incorporate a unique design into the façade of the building.
Artwork that addresses themes like community safety, the natural environment, wildlife, heritage, diversity and inclusion, or healing and reconciliation, are all being sought.
Three artworks will be chosen by a select committee, the first artist whose work is chosen will receive $10,000 with their piece being put on the building.
While the two runner up pieces may be used elsewhere in the city, the second place artist will win $6,500 and the third place will get $3,500.
Applications close on July 31, and can find the application and more information here.
