Coastal GasLink’s pipeline is inching closer to the 90 percent completion mark as it nears the halfway point of its final year of construction.
According to CGL’s May update, more than 612 kilometres of pipeline has now been installed across their 670 kilometre route.
Two out of eight sections are fully complete, with at least 94 percent of work now completed on four other sections.
CGL also teamed up with Northern Development to purchase a new fire truck for the Fraser Lake Fire Department this month.
Those come as they slow construction during a difficult spring melt, with more than 700 workers actively engaged in mitigation efforts.
