Hundreds of north coast residents have found themselves without power the past few days, and hundreds more are now joining them.
BC Hydro will be conducting a slew of planned outages this week as they conduct work on their equipment along the north and central coasts.
Nearly 500 residents of Prince Rupert, Port Edward, Metlakatla, and Lax Kw’alaams are facing three straight days of outages, which began today.
Each will last from 9:30 in the morning to 5:30 in the evening, as crews work to replace a power pole.
Meanwhile, outages which had impacted 245 residents in Prince Rupert, Kitkatla, and Onna River over the past three days are set to wrap up today.
