Impaired drivers continue to keep RCMP in Kitimat busy, as they pulled three off the roads in one day last Saturday.
It all began in the afternoon when several residents reported a vehicle driving erratically on South Lahakas Boulevard.
Police located the vehicle with the driver passed out behind the wheel, determined them to be under the influence of drugs, and issued a 24 hour driving prohibition.
Later in the evening, a patrolling officer pulled over another driver after observing a traffic offence, who would then fail a breath test.
They would be issued a 90 day driving prohibition and had their vehicle impounded for 30 days.
Not long after, officers pulled over a third impaired driver, who also failed a breath test, leading to a 24 hour driving prohibition of their own.
Drivers are reminded once again to avoid mixing drugs or alcohol with driving, as impaired drivers continue to fill police timesheets in Kitimat.
