The City of Terrace’s 2022 annual report has been released and is ready to be reviewed.
In total, the city saw $34.1 million in revenue last year and a spending total of $32.9 million.
At 22 percent of the spending total, public works was the biggest expense, while policing came in second at 15 percent.
Meanwhile, bylaw saw a 33 percent decrease in complaints which they say is due to an increased street presence.
Along with that, a bylaw offence tracking form was trialled in 2022, which showed that a majority of their complaints concern public drinking, averaging 19.63 calls per week.
The report states that moving forward, the city will work on asset management, and improving the quality of life overall through cultural strength and awareness.
A physical version of the report will be available at city hall starting on June 12 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
