Coastal GasLink crews are ramping up for summer as they hit 90 percent overall completion.
Three out of eight total sections have fully installed pipe adding up to a total of 662 kilometres.
Meanwhile, CGL says that focusing on that last 10 percent will include technically challenging and complex work fronts, integrity testing and the remaining water crossings.
CGL expects more than 6,000 workers this summer, pushing toward construction completion by the end of the year.
Currently, CGL is facing 5 stop work orders along the route, owing to sediment and erosion control challenges.
Though non-hazardous waste scattered at a construction site warns them of a $1 million fine if they fail to produce a proper garbage receptacle.
CGL says they have 700 employees working to implement sediment and erosion control measures across the entire route.
