In light of wildfires growing in the region, the Northwest Fire Centre will be putting another category 1 campfire ban in place.
The Bulkley Fire Zone, spanning from Hungry Hill to Little Oliver Creek, will be restricted starting at noon on July 6.
Those restrictions include fireworks, sky lanterns, burn vessels of any size or description, binary exploding targets, torches, chimineas, and air curtain burners.
However, outdoor stoves that burn briquettes, liquid or gaseous fuels are not included in those restrictions.
You can find a map of the affected area at CFNR FM dot CA.
The Bulkley joins the Nadina fire zone in category 1 bans, while category 2 and 3 bans remain in place province-wide until September 30.
