Over 1.2 million hectares have burned so far this wildfire season while 363 fires currently burn across the province.
Of that, 92 are in the Northwest Fire Centre and 63 in the Prince George fire centre.
As of yesterday, 16 evacuation orders are in place in the northwest region, affecting 281 homes according to Emergency Management and ClimateReadyBC.
While in the North Peace region, which encompasses both the Prince George and Cariboo fire centres, 11 evacuation orders have impacted 66 homes.
Though those numbers continue to grow with a new evacuation order issued for the 500-hectare Nilkitwa fire, effective for properties surrounding Nilkitwa Lake including Fort Babine.
In addition, the regional district of Bulkley Nechako has issued an alert for properties in the vicinity of Old Man Lake near Topley for a 204-hectare fire.
New alerts are also in place for the 300-hectare West Creek blaze for properties south of Trembleur Lake including the Tachie River and a portion of Stuart Lake.
As well as a 99-hectare blaze at Albert Lake is prompting an evacuation alert for Takla Landing.
The largest blaze in the Northwest is currently the Tintagel Fire near Burns Lake, which has grown to 8,000 hectares after merging with the Sheraton Creek flames.
