An evacuation alert which had been in place for the Village of Sik-E-Dakh and the surrounding area has been rescinded.
It had been issued last Thursday due to a wildfire burning just west of the Village, also known as Glen Vowel.
But, the wildfire service has made significant progress fighting the blaze, which is still covering 36 hectares, but is now being held.
Evacuation alerts for the Cedarvale and Woodcock areas remain in effect as of now.
