With the wildfire situation unpredictable and ever-evolving, the First Nations Health Authority has decided to call of some scheduled engagements.
They had intended to hold a pair of sessions on Haida Gwaii next week in an effort to improve access to services.
It’s part of an overall engagement launched in March to gauge how to improve services for Urban and Away from Home populations.
That includes all First Nations individuals living off-reserve, away from a First Nations community, or on a reserve away from home.
They had intended to visit Masset on the 24th and Skidegate on the 26th, but the wildfire situation has prompted them to postpone.
Future dates have yet to be announced, but an online survey is available at this link for those wishing to take that avenue.
