Today on Good Medicine with Bronwyn Lawrence…
We discuss the non-profit organization… Foundry BC, and the mental health services they offer the youth of British Columbia, both in community, and virtually.
Foundry BC provides counselling, peer support, physical and sexual healthcare, groups and workshops, as well as employment and education services for young people aged 12-24. Respectively, Foundry Virtual BC is for those who don’t have a Foundry centre in their community.
Foundry BC is culturally grounded, confidential mental health services with NO wait list, for BC youth, and the families that support them. The staff at Foundry BC prides themselves in meeting people where they’re at, and supporting each individual communities unique needs. They are an integrated care services, with a network of many different support workers—made BY the youth, FOR the youth.
