Most evacuation orders and alerts have been lifted in the northwest as the most dangerous wildfires migrate south.
All orders outside of the southeast Nechako fire complex have now been lifted, including one south of Babine Lake, which also saw its alert lifted.
Two small areas to the east and south of Houston remain under an alert, though the orders which had been in place were rescinded.
Alerts also remain in place west of the Omineca Provincial Park, south of Noonlang Lake, and around Great Beaver Lake north of Vanderhoof.
A portion of the Nechako and Cariboo south of Highway 16, between the Tweedsmuir and Kluskoil Lake Provincial Parks remains under orders and alerts.
