Two individuals have been arrested and charged with pulling a gun on a pair of youth in Quesnel before stealing their car.
At around 2:30 in the morning last Thursday, RCMP were called to the 7 Eleven on Maple Drive for reports of an armed robbery.
Witnesses reported observing two suspects approach a pair of youths in the parking lot, before flashing a firearm and demanding their keys and wallets.
They would comply and the suspects would flee the scene in their Malibu, leading police on a brief chase before it was called off due to speed.
RCMP later located the stolen vehicle abandoned in Williams Lake and would locate the pair with a replica handgun shortly after and have them arrested.
35 year-old Travis Paul and 30 year-old Desarae Hiebert are now facing 8 charges each, including robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, and more.
Both are being held in custody for a future court date.
