Wildfire crews continued to make progress on the nearly 80 active fires in the Northwest, with most evacuation alerts and orders lifted in the region.
Evacuation alerts remain in place for two small areas to the east and south of Houston, and an area west of the Omineca Provincial Park.
A cluster of properties northwest of Fraser Lake, and around the Great Beaver Lake north of Vanderhoof are also under alerts.
An alert south of Noonlang Lake has also been rescinded, and an order around Lucas Lake, on the east end of the Nechako Reservoir, has been reduced to an alert.
More alerts and orders remain in place south of Fraser Lake in the southeast Nechako and northern Cariboo.
Fire danger ratings across most of the North are now set to low, with some moderate areas to the south and northeast of Terrace.
All open burning is still banned province-wide, as wildfire crews continue to battle more than 360 active blazes.
