More planned power outages for Prince Rupert residents

BC Hydro will be shutting off power for a collection of homes in Prince Rupert today.

440 customers in Prince Rupert, Lax Kw’alaams, Port Simpson Metlakatla, and Digby Island will be impacted.

BC Hydro is doing so in order to conduct a pole replacement, and the outages will be in effect until 4 pm.

That comes after 456 customers were shut off yesterday for the same reason.
