Prince Rupert residents observing Truth and Reconciliation Day can get a head start tonight.
Tonight marks the first of a few events with two free screenings at the Lester Centre of the Arts, you can catch Bones of Crows starting at 3 p.m., followed by Healing Nation starting at 7 p.m.
Both showings are intended for ages 13+.
On Saturday, the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce is holding a golf scramble with several challenges, grand prizes, and door prizes.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society.
Also on Saturday at 7 pm, the Rupert Rampage hockey team will face the Hazelton Wolverines to fundraise for the Friendship House Association of Prince Rupert.
Then on October 2nd at 1 p.m., the Friendship House Association will be holding an Orange Shirt walk at the Prince Rupert Middle School field.
