A lack of affordable housing is a problem every community, no matter how large or small.
We all have to deal with it daily…the trick is to find a way to resolve the shortage crisis.
The city of Terrace is tackling the issue with a conference and invited the public to take part in helping to find a solution.
The “room for all housing solutions for Northwestern BC” will be held in Terrace March 4th and 5th.
Attendees will learn about the growing need for housing for different segments of the population including seniors, immigrants, low and middle income earners, the homeless, the needs of young families and other groups.
The conference will also explore available resources and support from all levels of government, private investors and non-profits.
If your interested in attending or making a presentation at the two day event contact David Block at dblock@terrace.ca
