Terrace RCMP Have Provided An Update On The Raid Of A Home Last Thursday.
Multiple Cruisers And A Number Of Heavily Armed Officers Descended On A Dwelling Behind St. Matthew’s Anglican Church And Executed A Search Warrant.
Six People Inside The Home All Emerged To Be Put In Handcuffs And Loaded Into Cruisers.
Police Entered And Conducted A Search Where They Came Up With Knives, A Sword, Batons, A Bow And Arrows, Ammunition And Bear Spray.
The Six People Arrested Were Released Later That Same Day.
Police Say They Obtained The Search Warrant Based On Information About What Was Described As Unauthorized Weapons In The Home. However, Police Have Not Provided Further Information On The Nature Of The Weapons Found.
Police Say They Will Be Presenting The Results Of Their Investigation To The Crown For Possible Charges.
The Location Of Last Week Raid Was In The Same Area As The Murder Of A Teenager Who Was Stabbed To Death Over A Week Ago. Police Have Released Very Little Information On That Case. They Did Question One Person But Have Not Laid Any Charges To Date.
