Wildlife and landscape photographer Brandon Broderick has won Canadian Geographic’s title of Canadian Photographer of the Year for 2023. The magazine made the announcement Jan. 15.
Broderick is a former Terrace resident currently living in Tumbler Ridge, B.C. in last year’s competition, Broderick received runner-up in the “Epic Landscapes” category, and his goal for this year was to win the over all, and he did just that. The Canadian Geographic title comes along with a $5,000 cash prize.
Broderick is currently working on a new book that will cover all of Northern B.C. and possibly some of the Rockies as well.
