Join Us for the Coldest Night of the Year Walk – February 22, 2025

It’s time to step up and walk in solidarity with those facing homelessness and hunger. Join CFNR live on location for the Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) on February 22, 2025 to show your support and help raise funds for people in need in our community.
Event Details:
- Location: Suwilaawks Community School, 3430 Sparks St, Terrace
- Schedule:
- 4:00 pm: Meet – Arrive early to get your materials and gear up.
- 4:45 pm: Muster – Gather for opening remarks and event kickoff.
- 5:00 pm: March – Start your walk on the 2km or 5km route.
- 6:00 pm: Munch – Enjoy a light meal provided for all participants.
- 7:00 pm: Mosey – Wrap up and say goodbye, with a hopeful look ahead to next year.
Route Details:
- 2km & 5km Routes: Both routes will be well-marked with CNOY signs.
- Rest Stops: Enjoy snacks and support along the way.
- Support: Volunteers, marshals, and support vehicles will be on hand to ensure your safety.
- For Families: Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
- No Pets: Only approved service animals are allowed at the event.
What to Bring:
- Waterproof shoes/boots for walking
- Warm clothing, including gloves and a hat
- Extra snacks if you have allergies or dietary restrictions
- A water bottle to stay hydrated
- A heart full of passion for supporting those facing homelessness in our community
