The Prince Rupert Regional Community Foundation (PRRCF) is now accepting grant applications, starting March 1.
Local organizations are invited to apply for funding that supports a variety of initiatives, including education, social welfare, health services, and programs for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and substance abuse prevention.
The foundation is also focused on projects that tackle critical social issues, such as poverty relief, environmental protection, and the advancement of the arts.
Youth development and delinquency prevention are also key priorities.
Applications will be accepted online at www.prfoundation.ca until April 30 at 8 p.m.
Be aware, the foundation only funds the purchase or repair of fixed or physical assets—not ongoing programs or operating costs.
Grants typically range from $1,000 to $5,000, though higher amounts may be considered in some cases.
